What is any date actually like?
Every weather forecast on earth runs out after about two weeks. Past that, the honest answer isn't a number — it's a range. Pick a city to see the high and low a date really delivers, how often it stays dry, and how far the date has drifted since the 1970s.
We scored years of real forecasts against what stations actually measured. In some cities a week-ahead forecast beats another city's next-day forecast.
How to read these pages. We publish the middle 80% of outcomes, not just an average. An average high tells you almost nothing about whether to plan an outdoor wedding; the spread between the 10th and 90th percentile tells you everything. Figures are shifted along each date's own warming trend, so they describe today's climate rather than the average of the last fifty years.
