About These Records
Each extremes table is compiled from NOAA's Global Historical Climatology Network Daily (GHCN-Daily) observations at the longest-running weather station near the location, the same data behind official National Weather Service climate extremes products. Quality-flagged readings are excluded, and monthly or annual “driest” records require substantially complete reporting.
Records are shown with the date they occurred, including ties. Where a station reports snowfall, tables also include the earliest and latest snow ever observed there.
